Duane Retraction syndrome

Duane Retraction syndrome: Duane syndrome; DRS

Duane retraction syndrome is a congenital disorder of ocular movements which was first described in 1905. There are three types of DRS that share common features. The condition may affect one or both eyes. DRS more commonly affects the left eye and is more common in girls. The reasons for this are not yet known.
