The Organisation is a Registered Charity in England and Wales and Company Limited by Guarantee No. 1140471, established in 1991. It is an umbrella organisation for groups concerned with visual impairment in children. The Organisation offers the opportunity for parents and parent support groups to co-operate in order to enhance the education, welfare and leisure opportunities for visually impaired children. It produces a magazine twice a year and runs events around the country for visually impaired children.

The Society is a Registered Charity in England and Wales No. 1051607, established in 1996. It offers services for children and young people with a visual impairment, from birth to the completion of full time education. The Society provides family support, educational advocacy, IT advice and support and large print children's books. Subject to criteria, it can provide grants for computers, speech and magnification software, educational toys etc.

The Organisation is a Registered Charity in England and Wales No. 1065029, established in 1987. It provides information and can assist with funding for individual children for equipment/services that will aid their education or social skills. The Organisation runs an annual family weekend for families with visually impaired children.

The Organisation is a Registered Charity in England and Wales No. 518641, established in 1984. It aims to offer practical help and advice to the families of vision impaired children throughout the UK. It provides a resource centre, a range of publications, library service for toys and books, parent-to-parent contact, visual stimulation programmes and equipment loan. The Organisation also offers advice to professionals working with vision impaired children and is in contact with 5,000 families nationwide.

The Organisation is a Registered Charity in England and Wales No. 205913, established in 1857. It is a national charity with a local reach, providing practical help and support to blind and partially sighted people of all ages across England. The Organisation became part of the RNIB Group in 2009.

The Society is a Registered Charity in England and Wales No. 221888, established in 1837. It provides support to families with a visual impairment at its centres in Manchester and Liverpool. Services include: specialist toy library, soft play area, sensory stimulation room, holiday clubs, support for ethnic minority families, visually impaired parents and relatives group (VIPAR), and a parent and toddlers group. The Society also runs a college of further education providing vocational education and training opportunities for young people who are visually impaired, many with additional physical and learning disabilities. It publishes a newsletter three times a year and has information available in a range of formats.

The Institute is a Registered Charity in England and Wales No. 226227, established in 1868. It is a membership organisation offering information about education, parent support groups, practical advice for employers and employees, and a talking book service. The Institute runs schools for various ages and abilities, colleges for further education and vocational courses and it also has rehabilitation centres, regional centres and a holiday service. Products, aids and publications are available from the customer services department. It publishes a magazine for parents and teachers and has information available.
