For Scotland's Disabled Children

Get involved

For Scotland’s Disabled Children (FSDC) was established in 2007 to secure rights and justice for disabled children, young people and their families in Scotland.

FSDC aims to ensure that Scotland’s disabled children are central to new policy and action and there are now 25 disability organisations signed up to the campaign coalition.

The campaign has established a Liaison Project that seeks to address four key issues impacting on disabled children’s lives:

  • improve the provision of, and access to, quality short breaks
  • increase and improve provision for periods of transition, when young people move through different phases in their lives
  • improve access to better quality, affordable and appropriate childcare provision
  • review the Education (Additional Support for Learning) (Scotland) Act 2004 to ensure that it meets the particular needs of disabled children and young people.

Join the campaign to find the Missing Millions!
For Scotland’s Disabled Children (fSDC) has just launched the national campaign to turn some of the missing £34million into services and support for disabled children and young people. And now they are looking for supporters’ help to take the campaign local.
