MakingContact.org is our on-line linking service for families with disabled children. Through this service parents are able to contact others at times that suit them best to share experiences and knowledge with other parents.

This service is used by over 5,000 people both parents of children with specific conditions and occasionally, particularly for some rare disorders, there may be affected adults registered.

How to use MakingContact.org

On MakingContact.org you can search for other people to contact over the internet. There is no charge to search for conditions or to register a profile.

However, to actively contact others there is a fee of £5 per year. This is in place to cover administration costs and to ensure that children do not use the site as the conversations are not monitored. In addition, it discourages commercial enterprises from using the site for their own purposes.

If you do not have regular internet access or know somebody without access to the internet that would benefit from this service we can offer support with this. Please contact us for more information.
