Hospital passports - working with parents
Bristol Children’s Hospital has developed an online hospital passport for children and young people with disabilities.
Addensbrooke hospital has developed two passports, one for children and young people with additional needs, and another for adults as well as pictures to assist staff communicating with people who find it difficult to speak.
Improving the hospital experience for people with learning disabilities This report from the NHS East of England and its accompanying materials has been developed to improve acute hospital services provided for adults with a learning disability and adults with autism. Much of it is also relevant for children and young people with additional needs.
