The ASICS British 10K London Run (6 miles) first took place in 2000 and is now one of London’s major sporting events with over 27,000 runners taking part. Entries are taken on a first come first served basis, therefore, don’t risk being disappointed by getting in touch with us - Contact a Family has guaranteed places in this most enjoyable run.
Each participant will receive a medal and a goody bag.
Where is it held? The run starts at Hyde Park Corner and ends in Whitehall. The route runs along the north side of the Thames and will take you past many of London’s biggest attractions, such as St James’s Palace, Trafalgar Square, St Paul’s Cathedral, Tower Bridge, Houses of Parliament and Big Ben.
I have my own place in the race, how do I run for Contact a Family? Great! If you have already bought your own place into the race we would love to have you on board our team. Own places can be bought via the official race website at http://www.thebritish10klondon.co.uk/ just let us know when you are registered (contact details below) and we will send to you a fundraising pack and special Contact a Family running vest.
How will Contact a Family support me? With your guaranteed place you will receive advice and guidance on how to get fit for the run and best methods of fundraising. You will also receive a running top to wear with pride on the day plus we'll be there to cheer you on around the course and invite you to a post-race picnic.
