Contact a Family first began as a local support group for parents living in the London Borough of Wandsworth. Today, we are in touch with hundreds of parent support groups and understand the value of giving families the opportunity to come together and share their experiences.

Thinking of setting up a group?

If you are thinking of starting a group the first thing to do is to check to see if there is already a group in your local area, or for a specific condition.

Types of groups we can help

The groups we help usually fall into two categories:

• National condition specific groups who support all families in the UK with a specific condition, often a rare disorder
