My Town Tiggers Annual Autism Conference: 'The Hidden Agenda
Date and time: 14 May 2010, 9.00am-4.30pm
Location: De Vere Hotel, Blackpool
Keynote Speakers: Dr Wendy Lawson, Ros Blackburn and Dean Beadle
This event brings together a range of high calibre speakers who have significant knowledge of, and happen to be on, the Autistic Spectrum. The day seeks to peek into the world of autistic people and look at the less obvious aspects of their experience and the impact on those who live with and care for them.
This event is for health professionals, teachers, social care workers, etc, as well as parents, carers and anyone with an interest in the Autistic Spectrum.
Cost: £49 for parents and carers, people with ASD; £145 for practitioners, professionals, those in employment. Includes refreshments and lunch. Fees are payable in advance.
