The 22Crew is a Registered Charity in England and Wales No. 1146975, established in 2011. It funds research and aims to provide information and social networking opportunity for all those affected by 22q Deletion Syndrome. The Group also seeks to raise awareness of the condition amongst medical profession, parents, carers and the public. This group currently has 155 members.

The Appeal is a Registered Charity in England and Wales No. 1088432, established in 1999. It provides support and information for all forms of 22q11.2 deletion including DiGeorge syndrome, velo-cardio-facial syndrome, Shprintzen syndrome and the 22q11.2 form of Opitz G/BBB syndrome. It offers contact with other families, has regional groups and publishes a quarterly newsletter. The Charity has over 470 members.
