Bloom syndrome

How is it treated?

Bloom syndrome cannot be cured. However, regular monitoring can be carried out to identify any malignancies as early as possible. X-rays and other environmental exposure to compounds that cause DNA damage should be avoided if possible. Prompt treatment of infections with antibiotics is important.
