Broncho Pulmonary Dysplasia

What are the symptoms?

Babies who have been affected by BPD are more prone to wheezing episodes, particularly with viral infections, during the first year of life. Some paediatricians consider it of value for babies on oxygen at home to receive protection against the respiratory syncytial virus during their first winter at home by giving them a course of injections of protective antibody.
