Scope is a National Registered Charity No. 208231 with a focus on cerebral palsy. The aim of Scope is that all disabled people achieve equality. Scope's work is focussed on four main areas: Early Years, Employment, Education and Daily Living. In addition to a range of national and local services, Scope has over 250 affiliated local groups. In-depth information and advice is provided on all aspects of cerebral palsy and disability issues as well as information about and referral to Scope services as appropriate. A team of trained Counsellors provides clients with emotional support and initial counselling. Scope publishes 'Disability Now' monthly.

Capability Scotland is a Registered Charity No. SC 011330, established in 1946. It provides a diverse range of services to children, young people and adults with a range of disabilities and their families and carers. Services include a national disability information and advice service. For children it offers activities, education and learning, children's short breaks and family support services.

The Centre is a National Registered Charity, registered under its Company No. 129291, established in April 1991. It offers conductive education within national guidelines on education within Scotland, education for children with cerebral palsy under the age of ten years, services for children with dyspraxia under the age of ten years, a free service to children under the age of two years, accommodation for families who do not live within daily travelling distance and a programme of Saturday and Summer schools. It has information available, details on request.

The Bobath Centre specializes in individual therapy for children (and adults) with Cerebral Palsy using the Bobath/NDT approach to treatment and management. Therapy is based on a problem solving approach to this disorder of posture and movement, based on movement, analysis and systematic treatment facilitating the child to develop a greater repertoire of functional activities. The focus of therapy is helping the parents and carers to use and adapt play and everyday activities to help the children reach their functional potential. The Bobath Concept, which is used internationally, was developed at this Centre. The Centre runs an eight week postgraduate course in the treatment and management of Cerebral Palsy for doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech & language therapists. In addition, short, practical courses are run for other professionals such as teachers and classroom assistants. The Bobath Centre has a wide range of information available, details on request.

The Foundation is a National Registered Charity No. 295873, established in 1986 to develop and advance the science and skill of Conductive Education in the UK. The National Institute of Conductive Education provides direct services to children and adults with motor disabilities; cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, children with dyspraxia and those who have suffered strokes and head injuries. Through a system of positive teaching and learning support, Conductive Education maximises their control over bodily movement in ways that are relevant to daily living. The National Institute also undertakes research and offers a comprehensive range of professionally oriented, skills-based training courses at all levels.
