Dandy-Walker syndrome
How is it treated?
With treatment, prognosis is generally good with a seventy-five to one hundred per cent chance of survival, but only fifty per cent of cases will develop a normal IQ. Balance, co-ordination and mobility problems are common, reflecting problems with the cerebellum and brain stem. Up to fifteen per cent of cases will have seizures.
