Dyskeratosis Congenita

What are the symptoms?

Clinical manifestations of Dyskeratosis Congenita often appear during childhood. The skin pigmentation and nail changes typically appear first, usually by the age of ten years. The more serious complications of bone marrow failure (aplastic anaemia) and malignancy develop in the second and third decades of life. However, there is considerable variability in the age at which these develop in different patients.
