NCYPE is a National Registered Charity No. 311877, established in 1963. It is the UK’s major provider of specialist services for children and young people with complex epilepsy and other neurological disorders. It provides a day and residential school and further education college, an on-site medical centre, epilepsy assessment and rehabilitation outreach service. The well established partnership between The NCYPE, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Trust and the Institute of Child Health, University College of London, has led to the creation of Europe’s first professor of childhood epilepsy - The Prince of Wales’s Chair of Childhood Epilepsy.
