Gut Motility Disorders

How is it diagnosed?

Diagnosis of motility disorders requires specialist paediatric gastroenterological and histopathological investigation. Such investigations include tests of co-ordinated gut contraction e.g. manometry. The type of tests used will depend on the part of the gastrointestinal tract most affected.
