The Association is a National Registered Charity No. 1011063, established in 1992. It offers support and information together with contact opportunities where possible. It promotes knowledge and understanding within the medical community and the public at large, gives life-style information and holds yearly residential weekends for member families. It publishes a newsletter and has information available, details on request. The Association has over700 members.
