Leukaemia CARE is a National Registered Charity No. 259483, established in 1969. It provides a freephone CARE Line 24/7 for patients and their families to enable people to discuss their feelings, concerns and emotions. In some cases it is able to offer financial assistance and also has a holiday programme. CARE Teams operate throughout the UK and do their best to offer local support for Patients and their families. The organisation publishes a newsletter twice per year and has a wide range of information available, details on request. The charity is also involved in patient advocacy. There are over 10,000 members.

Leukaemia Research is a national blood cancer charity, Registered Charity No. 216032 (England & Wales) SC037529 (Scotland), established in 1960. It is the only charity in the UK dedicated exclusively to researching blood cancers including leukaemia, Hodgkin's and other lymphomas, and myeloma. The group offer free patient information booklets and general advice on treatment.

The Society is a National Registered Charity No. 1040984, established in 1994. It offers support to affected children and adults, their families and carers and has a special interest in bone marrow transplantation. It runs mobile bone marrow donor recruitment clinics and its visiting officer can arrange visits when treatment takes place a long distance from the patient's home.
