steps is a National Registered Charity No 1094343, established in 1980. It supports individuals and families with lower limb conditions, such as clubfoot (congenital talipes equinovarus), congenital dislocation and developmental dysplasia of the hip and lower limb reduction defects. It can offer support and contacts for other conditions with musculoskeletal problems such as amputation caused by meningitis or trauma, Blounts disease, Congenital Pseudarthrosis, Congenital Tibial Bowing, Freeman Sheldon syndrome, Larsen syndrome, Sacral Agenesis or Vertical Talus. It publishes a regular newsletter and has information available, details on request. steps has over 4,000 members.
