The Trust is a National Registered Charity No. 1081300, established in 1965. It publishes 'Migraine News' and has a helpline with a wide range of information available. It also raises funds to support research and hosts an International Symposium every two years. The Trust's web site carries extensive information on the management and incidence of Migraine which, it is estimated, affects one in six people in the UK.

It produces a quarterly newsletter, a range of publications and has a website for children, Web: http://www.migraine4kids.org.uk . The Association also has information specifically regarding abdominal migraine. It has over 10,000 members.
