The Association is a National Registered Charity No. 326161, established in 1976. The Association also supports families of children with Multiple Epiphyseal Dysplasia (MED), Osgood Schlatter disease, Severs disease, Kohlers disease and Scheurmanns disease. It offers contact with local families of same age/sex/treatment where possible together with information and advice about management of the condition. A limited number of wheelchairs/buggies and hand propelled trikes are available for loan to members. It has information available, details on request. The Association has around 1,000 members and has helped over 8,000 families since it was founded.
