The Association is a Registered Charity in England and Wales No. 1037087 and Scotland No. SC041199, established in 1994. It offers support to patients, their carers and their families affected by PSP and CBD. It has a nationwide network of local support groups and aims to raise awareness of the condition amongst medical professionals and the general public. It also promotes worldwide research into the cause and effective treatment of PSP. The Association publishes three magazines a year and has information available.
