The Society is a National Registered Charity No. 286736, established in 1982. It offers support to all people with scleroderma, including families of children, by patient information leaflets, a telephone advice line, website with message board and e-mail. It has a number of area groups and contact persons. It publishes a quarterly newsletter and has information available, details on request. The Society responds to approximately 600 enquiries a year.

The Association is a National Registered Charity No. 326306, established in 1982 as the Raynaud's Association and renamed to include Scleroderma in 1990. The Association also covers associated conditions such as Vibration White Finger, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Erythromelalgia and Sjögren's syndrome. It offers support to families of affected children and adults. It publishes a quarterly newsletter and has a wide range of information available, details on request. The Association has around 6,000 members.
