Stargardt Macular Dystrophy

How is it treated?

There is no cure for Stargardt Macular Dystrophy. Treatment is symptomatic for the features affecting the individual and is aimed at optimising the affected person's vision. There are a number of aids available such as binocular lens, magnifying screens and low vision aids.
