The Transverse Myelitis Society is a National Registered Charity No. 1108179, established in 2004. It offers support to affected people and families by telephone and e-mail. The Society has a number of local support groups offering meetings. It has a range of information, details on the website. Over 400 members are in touch with about ten per cent being the families of children or young people.
