The Group is a National Registered Charity No. 1075302, established in 1998. The group also supports those with other Ultra-Violet related disorders. It offers support by telephone and letter and links with other families and affected individuals where possible. It publishes a newsletter three times a year and has information available, details on request. There is an annual night-time camp for families to meet other families and experts in a safe environment. The Group has over 400 members.
