The online version of The Contact a Family Directory is updated regularly throughout the year.
Access to families
Access to the website version is free of charge for families. Families can view a maximum of five different conditions per six month period. Families who need to access more than five condition entries should contact our helpline.
Unlimited access for professionals
For unlimited access to the online version of the Directory there is a subscription fee.
An annual subscription to the online version of the Contact a Family Directory costs £15 + VAT per user.
Please note
A 'User' is restricted to the last PC they logged on from: you cannot log on from elsewhere without your account being manually reset by Contact a Family.
What is involved/How do you record how many visits I have made?
The system we use to manage subscription and accesses utilises a secure database and cookies.
The database stores your subscribed username - typically an e-mail address - as well as what type of subscription you have and the expiry date of your subscription. The database is secured and only authorised staff members can access it. Your contact information (which we do not pass to anyone else) is not stored on our web server for security reasons but at our offices.
To ensure you have smooth subscription and only have to login once we utilise cookies. Cookies are small text files placed on your computer. More information about how and why we use cookies can be found on our Legal page.
