About Contact a Family

Contact a Family is the only UK-wide charity providing advice, information and support to the parents of disabled children, no matter what their disability or health condition. As well as supporting families, we assist any professional working with families.

Working with professionals

Information
Contact a Family can provide you with information about families with disabled children, information about specific medical conditions and disabilities, including rare disorders. We also have a library and information team who can help answer queries from professional workers about issues around disability and families with a disabled child.
