There are a number of other policy areas where we are working, for example with the Department for Transport on blue badges (parking permits for disabled people). Contact a Family is part of a review group following successful lobbying to extend the badges to parents of disabled babies under two.

New campaigns

If there is a UK or England wide issue which you feel we should be taking up, e-mail: info@cafamily.org.uk and let us know about it. If there is any way we can raise your issue, we will try to do so.

While we are not able to take up purely local issues where, for example, a local authority is not meeting your needs – you can get advice on such issues from our helpline or from an office in your area.
