  • Guidance for parent support groups and forums to help them reach and involve parents.

The Hospitals and Hospices Project provides information and advice to families who have a child using hospital or hospice services. Ruth is based at Great Ormond Street Hospital on a Thursday and can meet with families there.

The Hospitals and Hospices Project provides information and advice to families who have a child using hospital or hospice services. Toni is based at The Evelina Hospital on a Monday and can meet with families there.
  • Nandini Ganesh, Parent Adviser SEND, 02070130982, 07985 496248, Nandini.Ganesh@cafamily.org.uk. The SEND Advisor offers information and advice to parents through free education workshops to parents. The workshop covers various topics on the changes to the special educational needs system and can be modified to suit the audience. The adviser can hold focus groups as well as provide information stand at events and conferences

Please note our parent advisers work part time, so alternativel you can either call our freephone national helpline on 0808 808 3555 from 9.30am-5.00pm, Monday-Friday, or email helpline@cafamily.org.uk. Advisers can arrange an interpreter over the telephone if needed.

Our SENDirect service is a website where families of children with disabilities or special educational needs can search for and compare local support, activities and services.
