One of the best ways to support our work helping parents and families caring for with any disability, rare disorder or special need is to make regular donations to Contact a Family either direct from your bank account or direct from your pay.

Both you and Contact a Family benefits from regular giving:

• It's convenient and easy - you specify the amount and leave the rest to us
• You can alter or stop the donation at any time
• It's much easier to find £5 a month than it is to find £60 a year
• If you're a higher rate taxpayer, you can claim tax relief on your standing order donations
• It keeps our administration and fundraising costs down so more of your money used directly on supporting parents and carers
• Regular income means we can plan and develop our services to parents and carers much more effectively

We have an arrangement with the Charities Aid Foundation which enables you to sign up now to make a regular payment from your bank account. The Direct Debit Guarantee gives piece of mind and you are free to cancel at any time.

Payroll giving

Payroll giving is a tax-effective and time-efficient way to support the work of Contact a Family by making regular donations directly from your pay.

You authorise your employer to deduct a regular donation direct from your pay. All donations are taken before tax is calculated so a donation of £6.25 a month for example will actually only cost you £5 if you are a basic rate taxpayer, or £3.75 if you are a higher rate taxpayer.

You can give any amount and can change or stop you donation at any time - just give your payroll department one month's notice.

Not only is payroll giving a convenient and easy way to support our work but your regular donations are a regular, reliable source of income that allows us to plan the delivery of our services in the future much more effectively.
