Working as part of a close knit, dynamic, highly motivated team, the post holder will provide on-going support to family carers including parents and siblings involved in caring for a child with a disability and / or life limiting condition primarily through one to one mentoring, the delivery of approved group based personal development programmes & structured Me-Time activities.
£22,000 (Pro rata applicable)
Your role: to provide support and guidance to parents of disabled children around benefits and income maximisation. You will be working on a one to one basis as well as delivering group sessions.
£26,797 - £30,220 pro rata applicable (NJC scale 26-30)
The post holder will develop the capacity of parents and carers within Lambeth to influence services for disabled children and their families by working with parents and statutory and voluntary agencies. To facilitate and manage the already established Lambeth Parents Forum and the activities/workshops/meetings which are organised to co-ordinate participation within the borough.
NJC Scale 22-24 (£24,059 - £ 25,362) Actual salary £10,827- £11,417 Per Annum
This role will take the lead in the planning, organisation and developing a year round programme of activities and events aimed at promoting inclusion. These events include Easter, summer and Christmas family based activities and producing a quarterly newsletter advertising the events.
NJC scale 26-28 £26,797-£28,363 Pro rata applicable
You will be managing a developing team in our Lewisham office. The team comprises a part time Independent Supporter, two part time family workers, one full time role which is divided into part family worker and part Inclusion coordinator. You will be monitoring each of the roles which are funded from 3 different sources, you will be reporting to each of the funders – the local authority, the CDC and the Big Lottery Fund. You will be part of a London team and will be supported by the London Projects’ Manager as well as fellow managers in other boroughs.
